Maggie's BAHA ( hearing aid) broke the Friday before Christmas. We had to send it off to get fixed on Christmas Eve and were so thankful we bought the extended warranty to cover things like this. Her Baha was very expensive and essential to Maggie's everyday life. I would describe it as almost like another limb or a part of her body. It has become such a help to Maggie that she really doesn't live in a hearing impaired world. Her Baha allows her to live in a hearing world. And that is just amazing !
So, we all had Christmas on Christmas Eve so Maggie could hear. We knew once we sent off her hearing aid, she would be distraught ( and she was ). But, we made it through and received a brand new fixed Baha four days later. Maggie said " I hear LOUD" when we put it on her head !
And here is what Maggie and the boys got for Christmas :

Another bath tub toy - Tub Tunes. It's a set of flutes that you play in the tub. Maggie loves them ! And some more Loving Family dollhouse furniture : The baby room.
Maggie loves playing with her dollhouse and all the tiny furniture and people. She's got a ton of it and she plays with it more than any of her other toys.
